Mr Faiz R Hashmi MBBS, BSc, FEBOT, FRCS Tr & Orth

I am working as an Associate Professor and experienced consultant at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in orthopaedics with a particular focus on shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand surgery, including the management of sports-related injuries. I received my specialist training across the Midlands and Yorkshire regions, further enhancing my knowledge with an intensive and dedicated fellowship in shoulder and upper limb surgery in the UK.

In addition to my UK training, I refined my skills internationally, having completed advanced training in both France and Germany. In France, I worked at the prestigious Institut de la Main in Paris, a globally renowned centre specialising in shoulder replacement and hand surgery. This institution is considered a leader in innovative techniques for both shoulder and hand reconstructive procedures.

My experience in Germany was equally valuable, where I contributed to the management of upper limb and hand fractures at the University Hospital Klinikum Augsburg, one of the country’s key centres for trauma and reconstructive surgery.

My clinical practice is characterised by a comprehensive expertise in treating a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, ranging from acute injuries to complex reconstructive surgeries. Our approach integrates the latest advancements in surgical techniques, delivering advanced care and ensuring the best outcomes for my patients.

My passion for orthopaedics has also led me to writing numerous publications covering various aspects of orthopaedics, with a particular focus on the management of upper limb surgical procedures.
